Project Engineer – Equipment Installations (Piping & Electrical Works)
You will lead complex equipment and tool installation projects within advanced fabrication and laboratory environments. The role combines hands-on engineering work in the lab with responsibility for coordinating installation phases from initial investment request through to final acceptance. You will actively support on-site installation, integration, and commissioning activities, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead equipment/tool installation projects from investment request to final handover
- Define project scope, planning, and budget, and ensure consistent follow-up
- Engineer and coordinate the required technical facilities (electrical, mechanical, utilities)
- Steer and supervise in-house contractors and technical teams
- Monitor progress and report project status to stakeholders
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment installation or industrial project environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to motivate teams and maintain high energy levels throughout project execution
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe working practices
